MONOCHY.COM is committed to making this website accessible to everyone. We believe considered design and inclusive access go together — a site that works only for some people is not a site that works well.

Our commitment

We are working to ensure that monochy.com conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice recognition software, or keyboard-only navigation.

Current status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known issues and improve the experience for all users.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved:

• Some product images sourced from third-party affiliate feeds may not include descriptive alt text. We are working to address this across our product catalogue.
• Certain interactive elements built with Elementor may not be fully optimised for keyboard navigation. We are reviewing these on an ongoing basis.
• Some older journal content may contain links that do not have sufficiently descriptive anchor text.
  • Video content, where present, may not include captions or transcripts. We are working to ensure future video content meets this standard.

  What we have done

  • Ensured sufficient colour contrast across our core brand palette and typography
  • Used semantic HTML heading structure across all page templates
  • Made navigation menus accessible via keyboard
  • Ensured all form fields include visible labels
  • Provided skip-to-content functionality on all main page templates
  • Ensured the site is responsive and functions across a range of devices and screen sizes

  Technical approach

  MONOCHY.COM is built on WordPress Multisite using Elementor Pro. We work within the constraints of our platform while actively pushing for improvements. Where third-party components or affiliate feed content falls short of accessibility standards, we note this as a

  known limitation and work to mitigate it where possible.

  We test for accessibility using a combination of automated tools and manual review, including keyboard navigation testing and screen reader checks using VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
